Music by The Master provides interactive, first person point of view educational programs designed for all ages. Although this program works quite well with grades 2 through 8 for both public and private school curriculums studying Renaissance or Civil War.

HEAR YE HEAR YE! What say you to An Audience with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and her court composer William Byrd? Learn how to make a proper bow and courtesy. Test your vocabulary skills as a learned one with a game of compliments. Play musical instruments while your peers learn the Hupfauf! See just how some of the customs and courtesies of our time are not so different from that of your time.

"I never knew that learning history could be so much fun!" are but a few of the responses from this very informative and hands on presentation. Having been successfully performed for the public school systems, why not make your next history lesson, something to remember.

 

Civil War Reenactments

What was life truly like during one of our nation?s most turbulent times in history? Music of the Civil War; This program offers first hand accounts of what life was like through the songs written commemorating the battles, ideas, thoughts, and patriotism of the Civil War. Hear alternate versus to the popular "war" song "When This Cruel War Is Over" penned by an African-American soldier from the famed 54th Mass. Colored Regiment, "Down In Charleston Jail." Discover which industries flourished during this most turbulent time. Join us in sing along of some of the better known tunes of the time. This program is also presented in period costume.
